Sean & Bree

How They Met: “Put two ships out at sea with no wind and tide and they will come together. That’s how it felt” Bree explains. After 4 years sailing at an offshore tug and barge company and on Bree’s very last offshore hitch as a deckhand before becoming a deck officer she met Sean. In the summer of 2021, Sean crewed up onto Bree’s tug, Apache, tied up at Chevron Richmond long wharf in the bay area. She remembers glancing over at him and thinking “Oh, wow, he’s goofy.” Bree describes that there was not a single moment during those three months of sailing together that she was not laughing to the point of crying with Sean. They would play cribbage every night for weeks on end losing track of who was winning or losing. Even though Sean’s side of the story is he let Bree win because he thought she was cute.

The Proposal: Sean took Bree on a ski trip two years later to the French Alps and proposed on the top of Aiguille du Midi with a limitless view of the surrounding mountain peaks covered in snow. Bree says that the French Alps is the most romantic destination she has ever witnessed. 

The Ring: We created a sandwich ring for Bree to go around her engagement ring. This sandwich ring has blue sapphires and diamonds to perfectly complement her engagement ring. 

The Wedding: On October 7th, 2023 Bree and Sean tied the knot at Holiday Inn Club Vacations Tahoe Ridge Resort. The venue was perfectly placed in between two immaculate views while sitting at the top of a heavenly ski resort overlooking the valley in Carson City, Nevada and South Lake Tahoe, CA. It was truly their dream wedding and the venue accommodated all of their guests from all over the world.
